Terms of sale

These terms cover buying a SepiaDoc Business License from Mako Logics LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we"). Using SepiaDoc itself is covered by the SepiaDoc License Agreement, which also applies to every Business License.

What you buy

A Business License lets the number of people on the licence use SepiaDoc for business, under the License Agreement. Each person may use it on any computers they use. The licence is for your business; it can't be resold or shared beyond the number of people on it.

Price and payment

The price is the one shown when you buy, per person, in US dollars. Applicable taxes are added at checkout where we're required to collect them. Payment is taken by Stripe when you buy.

Yearly licences

If you buy a yearly licence, it renews automatically each year at the price per person then in effect, and Stripe charges the card on file. We'll email a new licence key after each renewal. You can stop the renewal at any time from your account (Manage billing); the licence then keeps working until the end of the year already paid for. You can change the number of people at any time from the same place.

Licences paid once

If you pay once, the licence key doesn't expire.

Delivery

Your licence key is emailed to you when the payment goes through, and it's always available in your account at sepiadoc.com/account.

Refunds

Write to support@sepiadoc.com and tell us what happened; we look at every request. If we refund a purchase, the licence it paid for ends.

Quotes, purchase orders and invoices

For larger purchases, or to pay by invoice, ask us for a quote. Those purchases follow these terms unless we agree otherwise in writing.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Texas. The warranty disclaimer and limits of liability in the License Agreement apply to your purchase. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
